About Us

The Leslie County Area Technology Center (LCATC) is a public school that's part of the Kentucky Tech System, a network of 50 centers statewide. Located in Hyden, Kentucky, LCATC provides career and technical education (CTE) to high school students, primarily in grades 9-12. The center's mission is to educate future career and technical leaders, equipping them with both soft and specialized skills to prepare them for careers or post-secondary education.
